This was our last official work weekend for 2018, a year which was spent recovering from the devastating Eagle Creek fire. And our work is far from done. The new generator roof is in place but we are still without our generator, which was removed for repairs. Volunteers removed still more scrap metal, cleared brush and cut wood and painted the walls of the Redwing basement. A second tent platform was completed on the former site of the women’s dorm. More hazard trees have been cut and our view of the river and gorge below has really opened up.
